Travel grants ÖGAI 2023
The ÖGAI promotes young scientists through scholarships.
Young ÖGAI members up to their 35th birthday will therefore again have the chance in 2023 to receive support for active participation in a scientific (also hybrid) event through travel grants up to max. 500,- Euro. Actual costs for registration fees, travel and hotel expenses are covered.
In addition to ÖGAI membership, the active presentation of a subject-specific abstract at the respective event is a prerequisite. The same congress contribution may only be submitted once for a travel grant. Scholarships may be applied for (provided all documentation is in place) both before and after the convention.
For recipients of the travel grants, the use of the ÖGAI logo in their presentations is mandatory, as well as the reference to ÖGAI support on the poster, or on the last slide. You are welcome to request the ÖGAI logo from our office by email: office@oegai.org.
Applications including a completed application form, the submitted abstract, confirmation of a presentation, and a brief curriculum vitae should be submitted as one overall reduced-size pdf document in electronic format to the ÖGAI Secretariat(office@oegai.org). The review of the applications is carried out by the Board of Directors of the Company. If awarded, confirmation of attendance at the Congress must be provided.
NEW: In addition, ÖGAI invites applications for 5 travel scholarships to attend the 18th International Congress of Immunology (IUIS; 27.11.-2.12.2023) in Cape Town (IUIS 2023 – Where Immunologists Meet). Please note the congress abstract submission deadline of 5/16/2023!
