Working group „T cells in health and disease“

The working group for “T cells in health and disease” connects researchers and groups in Austria working on T lymphocytes from both basic and translational perspectives. The working group aims to share knowledge and expertise related to T cell biology and build a network that fosters collaboration. To promote scientific exchange and collaboration, groups interested in T cells meet regularly online and once per year in person at the ÖGAI annual meeting. The “T cells in health and disease” working group covers a broad spectrum of basic and clinical research topics, including basic T cell biology (development, differentiation, signaling, immune surveillance), immunological and inflammatory disorders (autoimmunity, allergy, immunodeficiency, chronic inflammatory conditions, transplant-related immune reactions), diseases (cancer, infectious diseases), T cell engineering and T cell aging.
