CLINICAL ALLERGOLOGY

The aim of this ÖGAI specialist group is to draw up guidelines for allergology work in Austria and to contribute to the development of international guidelines for the treatment of allergic patients. A particular concern was the creation of the specialization for allergology in Austria, which could be realized in 2021!

Clinical Allergology

The specialist group is the point of contact for doctors and patients in all allergological matters, as well as for authorities and social insurance companies.

Statements on current allergological topics were recently particularly relevant in connection with the issue of anaphylactic reactions to SARS-Cov-2 vaccines.

The specialist group often works together with other societies from Germany and abroad to produce information and folders.
