The Austrian Society of Allergology and Immunology (ÖGAI) assures to collect and use only such personal data of its members that are necessary for member support and administration as well as for the pursuit of the association’s goal. The data collected and stored by the ÖGAI for the establishment, implementation and termination of the membership defined by the statutes and the purpose of the association include personal details (name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone/fax number) and other data necessary for the type of membership (professional affiliation, training status, payment information and information for direct debits).

According to the DSGVO, every member has the right to information about the data stored about him or her. ÖGAI processes and stores the personal data provided only as long as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes. After the purpose has been achieved and after expiry of legal storage obligations, this data is deleted. Every member has the right to correct his or her data, revoke consent or delete personal data, as long as this does not contradict the purpose of the association as stated in the association statutes.

The ÖGAI collects and stores this data by means of data processing equipment (EDP) for the fulfilment of its statutory purposes and tasks in accordance with the provisions of the EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that no unauthorised access to (and no unlawful processing of) the data provided takes place.

Insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or justified within the framework of the legitimate interests of the ÖGAI, personal data will also be transferred to contract processors (service providers) employed by the ÖGAI, if these comply with the data protection requirements specified in writing by the ÖGAI and undertake to maintain confidentiality vis-à-vis the ÖGAI. For this purpose, an order processing agreement is concluded with the service providers used. A data transfer outside the EU or the EEA (so-called third countries) only takes place if this is necessary for the execution of the contract.

We offer on our site the possibility to register there. The data entered in the course of this registration, which can be seen from the input mask of the registration form, are collected and stored exclusively for the use of our offer. When you register on our site, your IP address and the date and time of each registration are also stored. This serves as a safeguard for us in the event that a third party misuses your data and registers with this data on the ÖGAI website without your knowledge. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site is also not carried out.
