IMMUNOLOGICAL TRAINING IN AUSTRIA
This ÖGAI specialist group is responsible for coordinating and harmonizing immunology teaching between the individual universities.
She played a key role in the training regulations for specialists in clinical immunology and is involved in the implementation of specialization in allergology.
Cooperation with the European Union of Medical Specialists (IUMS) to harmonize with the European curricula in immunology was essential for this ÖGAI specialist group. Another goal is to create accompanying structures to enable the further training of immunologists (PhDs) and clinical immunologists (MDs) and to ensure their accreditation.
