The ÖGAI awards honorary memberships. With this, the ÖGAI recognizes scientists and personalities who have been specifically committed to the promotion and further development of the ÖGAI and its community, and thereby made a significant contribution to the continued advancement of allergology and/or immunology.

Call for nominations: at the beginning of each year, all ÖGAI members are invited to nominate scientists and personalities for becoming an ÖGAI honorary member (details will be announced in January). The ÖGAI board decides on the basis of the nominations submitted.
