It is with great sadness that we have to inform the members of the Austrian Society of Allergology and Immunology (ÖGAI) that our honorary member, former president and long-time honorary president, Prof. Dr. Othmar Förster, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024 at the age of 99.
With him, we not only lose an important scientist and outstanding physician, but also a passionate teacher and committed promoter of allergology and immunology in Austria.
