T Cell Connect Europe – Online Immunology Lecture Series
The EFIS/Immunology Letters study group “T-cell Connect Europe” (TCCE) has been organizing an Online Immunology Lecture series focusing on T-cell biology. The series was initiated in September 2020 in response to the Corona virus pandemic to facilitate exchange among European T-cell immunologists. On every 1st and 3rd Tuesday in a month at 5 pm (CET) two immunology lectures took place (organized via ZOOM) (from 2024/2025 only the 1st Tuesday in the month). By June 2025, we had organized more than 110 lectures. Please have a look at our website to see the program of all seasons: http://www.t-cells.eu/
The lecture series will be continued in the season 2025/26. We are having monthly talks always on the 1st Tuesday of each month. We will always have two speakers, each having 25 minutes for the presentation followed by a 5-10 minutes discussion.
If you interested to listen to the lectures, please visit: http://www.t-cells.eu/
The lecture series is organized by: Esperanza Perucha (London), Lucy Walker (London), Jochen Huehn (Braunschweig), Dirk Baumjohann (Bonn) and Wilfried Ellmeier (Vienna)
About the study group
To stimulate and facilitate interaction among European researchers working in specific fields of immunology, thereby helping to create European platforms on a topic-oriented, bottom-up level, the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) – in collaboration with its Official Journal Immunology Letters (IL) – established EFIS-IL Study Groups on specific areas of immunology-related research.
The EFIS-IL study group T CELL CONNECT EUROPE (TCC_EUROPE) was established in 2018, and since then is constantly growing. The overarching research interest of TCC_EUROPE is to study fundamental aspects of T cell-mediated immunity in health & disease as well as to provide new concepts of T cell-based immunotherapies. TCC_EUROPE is connecting basic and clinical researchers in the field of T cell biology to foster the development of interdisciplinary and collaborative translational approaches.
