Clemens von Pirquet Prize 2022

At the Joint Meeting of the ÖGAI with the DGfI in Hannover, the ÖGAI prizes were awarded at our General Assembly. The Clemens von Pirquet Prize 2022 was awarded to Isabella Pali from the Interuniversity Messerli Research Institute for her work on the protective farm effect against allergies in Clinical Translational Allergy. Karl Landsteiner Prize 2022 to Ci Ashley Zhu

At the Joint Meeting of the ÖGAI with the DGfI in Hannover, the ÖGAI awards were presented at our General Assembly. The Karl Landsteiner Prize 2022 was awarded to Ci Ashley Zhu from the Medical University of Vienna for her work in the Journal of Hepatology . See photos in the photo gallery in our Member Area. ÖGAI Dissertation Awards 2022 went to...

At the Joint Meeting of the ÖGAI with the DGfI in Hannover, the ÖGAI awards were presented at our General Assembly. See photos in the photo gallery in our Member Area.

The 1st ÖGAI Dissertation Prize (Fritz and Ursula Melchers Prize) went to Eva Gruden (Group Dr. Schicho, Meduni Graz) for her PhD thesis “Investigating novel treatment options to suppress eosinophil effector responses”.

The 2nd dissertation prize went to Lim X.F. Clarice (group Prof. Strobl, Meduni Graz) for her PhD thesis “Role of microRNAs in dendritic cell differentiation and activation”.

The 3rd dissertation prize went to Vktoria Zaderer (group Prof. Wilfingseder, Meduni Innsbruck) for her PhD thesis “Adding new dimensions for an improved integrative understanding of pathogen entry and transmission at mucosal sites”.
